Infiltration and CQC

Your breath is seen in the cool air. Your heart is pounding in your ears. Your ammo is low and the footsteps are getting louder. What do you do? Some will blindly charge towards the footsteps and try to take as many of the enemy with you as you can. Some will cower and pray. Others will think. The mind is the body's most powerful weapon. Why freak out? Why cower? Why not stay calm and get creative? To be able to take out an entire enemy force is not done but brute force alone, it is done by using your creativity. Sometimes not taking the shot is the difference between life and death. Sometimes sparing one can end the lives of many later.
That is the difference between most players and trained players. It's not about everything in sight, it's about everything period. A ghost is frightening because it is not seen until it's too late or for a split second to cause panic. ISIS members are like the phantoms of the battlefield: when they appear, it's far too late. A potential member of the infiltration branch will need to be a master of their surroundings as much as any sniper to be fully effective. A shadow, a crate, a couch. Any and all of those things can be used as effective cover...or an effective decoy. It is not always about running-and-gunning as many players seem to think it is, but it is more of a game in which your objective is to "tag" your target and still not be known. Suppressors are common, but the knife is the true stealth way to kill.
In order to be a full fledged infiltration member, one must also partake in Close Quarters Combat training with xXD3ATHITS3LFXx. A true demon with a blade, many have felt his cold, serrated edge. It has saved his life and the members of his team many times. However, everyone knives differently, it is all up to the user what techniques to use.
"If sniping is the eye in the sky, infiltration is the foot on the ground. A good team is one of many parts and though long distance guys can hold their own, it is the Infiltration Squadron that gets the work done. From planting bombs to capturing flags; from taking out campers to taking entire buildings, a member of this team has to be able to handle any situation that is thrown their way. ISIS uses many different forms of combat. We use our own variants of Blitzkrieg, breach-and-clear, and cloak-and-dagger tactics. We use distractions, force multipliers with the sniping squad, or even anti-vehicular routing with the demolitions team. If someone wants to join Infiltration there is a lot to learn. However, many people already contain the necessary skills to be an infiltrator, but they lack the tactical prowess of a trained individual. Because of this, without the guys busting down the doors, the snipers wouldn't be able to complete their objectives. We are all one complete unit and I know, as a member of that unit, that Infiltration squad members are the key to a tactical victory. It is up to us snipers to give them the information they need, but they are the ones getting up close and personal." -- VanishingPuppet, Founder's note
